Tax returns in Hungary in 2026

Tax season has just started: drafts for the 2025 tax returns created by the Hungarian Tax Authority always become available in the middle of March. You can already check yours online with your Ügyfélkapu or DÁP login. If your monthly reports were all alright throughout 2025, this will only take a few minutes. Make sure to submit your tax returns by May 20.

Representation tax waived for business lunches and pálinka

New tax exemption for women raising three children in Hungary

Starting from October 1, 2025, women who are raising or have raised 3 children are eligible for a new tax exemption: they will not have to pay personal income tax anymore.
